Ah, well. I did prefer not use the Ovi icon (legal causes), and
also not to do a new one (time causes), so I put that free icon, in
next version I will improve it.
Yes, the cancel button have a bit of lag, if you are uploading
multiple files, it works in the next file when you press the
button, but the actual file that is uploading, it will go at the
server. It needs improvements too.
Greatness, I'll likely be using this on a trip to Cali in
October. A few feedback points:
Can you make the username/password fields not auto-cap the first
letter? That drives me nuts, as it's not always obvious, and I
never use caps in either.
would be cool to integrate into Mirage (that's the one you
created, right?) so that I can quickly crop/edit if needed.
Preferably be able to open SharePy as-is, with maybe a
press-and-hold to open a thumbnail in Mirage?
I like the channels list alot.
Will this upload all details of a photo? I.e. if I use GPScamera
on my tablet to snap a pic, or if I'm uploading geotagged photos
from my N95-3, will the location parse through?
1) It's a general setting in the tablet, but I think it could be
forced to not autocap.
2) Well, I didn't create it, but I manage the maemo port ;) This
feature will be easy when SharePy supports dbus calls (when I
understand it mainly), so with little code it's possible.
4) I haven't tested with geotagged photos, but I uploaded some
photo done with a N95-2, and it shows the right info in ovi, so at
least the exif data seems be kept. I will test with geotagged
photos.
Oooh, something new to play with. @yerga, you really make things that
make having a tablet worth it; if we could get you on the microB
team to clean up things there then it would be a natch for Diablo
:)
@gerrymoth, ahh, I
thought I have fixed it in the 0.1.1 version, it was the cause of
the .1 update, but seems it wasn't well. More investigation
tomorrow, now is late, I need sleep a bit ;)
@arjw, thanks :) Don't you
think it, gecko is a hell for any developer. While I don't know
C++, I have tried build the svn microb-engine sometimes, and it has
an incredible quantity of code difficult to manage. But, of course,
it should be better than it's now.
Geko and Webkit are both mobile hell at this point; and that's
because folks missed thinking about mobile anything when these were
thought up. That is what it is, for now.
Will have to fire up the IT tonite and get to playing. Its been
a while

Cool! What are you referring with Ovi icon?

When its in the Extra folder?
I've noticed a few slight probs, when you upload a picture then press CANCEl it does do anything, it still uploads the image.

Oh and you can only upload whatever the top image is in the list, but I think you mentioned this earlier?

@yerga: Sorry had to go out there for a few minutes. I'm using v0.1.1-1 which is in the repos

It would be nice if you could label all the images at the same time rather than 1by 1

@yerga: It does send all images in the list if you label all the images

Did the T-mobile guys say this morning that the browser for the android phone is webkit?
2 months, 1 week ago by ScottWilder.
The webkit-based version, that aligns with chrome, comes later; not sure what the engine is in it now.

Both Chrome and Android's browser is WebKit.
